Best Review is an independent product-review site made for New Zealand shoppers. We research & test the appliances, tech, health, outdoor and home products Kiwis actually buy, and turn hours of comparison into clear, honest recommendations — so you can buy the right thing the first time.
How we research and test
We don’t just repeat spec sheets. For every guide we:
- Compare each product’s specifications, features and NZ availability.
- Read expert reviews, hundreds of verified owner reviews & test the products to find real strengths and weaknesses.
- Weigh performance, value, and how well each product suits New Zealand homes and conditions.
- Name honest pros and cons for every pick — no product is perfect.
Hands-on testing. We physically test some products ourselves — and when we do, we say so clearly, share what we found, and use our own photos. Not every product in every guide is hands-on tested (that isn’t realistic across hundreds of products), so where a pick is based on research rather than our own testing, we’re upfront about that. Only products we’ve genuinely tested are described as “tested.”
